Our Generational Farmstead Table Cookbook



It all started while flipping through some of Grandma's old cookbooks one evening. I stumbled across an old family notebook with handwritten recipes. They were from simpler times—recipes that we probably would toss to the side now days. They had a lot of the same simple ingredients—flour, butter, salt, and eggs. It's what they had an abundance of back in those days, and so they used what they had. 

My grandma smiled and said, "you know, you really should make a cookbook out of all these recipes you're finding." And I instantly knew exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to make a cookbook of our generational recipes—not only of the ones we found and the ones my grandma used, but the ones my generation and the generation before me used as well. And so, Our Generational Farmstead Table was born.

I've been diligently working on this book for over a year now, and it is finally coming to fruition. With a potential release date in early 2017, our cookbook will be filled with full color photos, recipes, family memories, and more.
